Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard was launched in 2004 to improve human health by using genomics to advance our understanding of the biology and treatment of human disease, and to help lay the groundwork for a new generation of therapies.
Our support
In 2015, PSF supported The Broad Institute Infectious Disease Program with a project focused on tuberculosis. In 2023, it supported a research project led by Principal Investigator Dr. Feng Zhang, entitled, "Programmable Therapeutics: Building the Foundation for the Next Wave of Medicine."
