2024 Pershing Square Sohn Cancer Research Alliance Retreat

On Thursday, November 14th, The Pershing Square Sohn Cancer Research Alliance (PSSCRA) held its annual Retreat at the Kellen BioLink at The Rockefeller University. The 2021 Prize winners, along with select 2020 winners, presented their concluded projects and findings to their peers with active Q&A discussions in person and via Zoom. 2014 Prize winner and Scientific Review Council member Dr. Adolfo Ferrando gave a keynote talk on his scientific journey from childhood, through his training in academia and lab at Columbia University, to his current position at in industry at Regeneron. A lively networking reception followed. Attendees included 2014-2024 Pershing Square Sohn Prize winners, members of PSSCRA’s Scientific Review Council and Prize Advisory Board, philanthropic partners, and select foundation guests. The retreat provides a supportive and intimate environment for grantees to present their work and foster meaningful connections.
